Pricing

Yelken has a simple Pay as You Go pricing model where you pay only for resources that you have used and have a cost. In this case, Service and Volume resources have an associated cost depending on the plan they are on.

Yelken tracks resource usages in terms of seconds. Imagine that you have created a website with a $5/month plan and deleted it after running for exactly 12 hours. The $5/month plan has a cost of $0.000002067 per second. Consequently, with 12 hours run, you will be billed for $0.09 for this website at the end of the month.

Yelken rounds up the running seconds to obtain an integer number. Additionally, Yelken assumes that there are 28 days in a month, with each day consisting of 24 hours. By dividing the monthly price of a resource by 2419200 seconds (28 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 seconds = 2419200 seconds), cost per second is calculated.

INFO

You are billed for the duration of your resource's existance with a mininum $0.01 cost.

Service Plan

Each service, depending on whether is application or custom too, has an associated plan that has a cost. Usage of a service starts when its state turns into Running state and ends when it is deleted completely. You will be billed for the amount of duration your service exists. Volume Plan

Each volume, excluding a volume attached to application service, has a single pricing where its monthly cost is $0.2 per GB. Usage of a volume starts when its state turns into Running state and ends when it is deleted completely. You will be billed for the amount of duration your volume exists.

WARNING

Volumes that are created by Yelken when you create an application service, such as WordPress, does not have a cost until you delete the service it is attached to.

Once you delete the service, the volume will be detached and Yelken will start tracking its usage. To prevent unexpected cost, you may want to delete the volume too.
